Privacy, Data & Billing
How Pending processes communication, what is retained and for how long, how to disconnect and delete, and how subscriptions work.
How communication is processed
Pending processes communication content to identify and maintain responsibilities. Original message content is removed after processing is completed, with one documented exception described under retention below. Pending does not sell your personal information or communication content, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train AI models. The full detail lives in the Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Pending retains derived responsibility information and limited metadata needed to keep your responsibilities and their history working. Possible Responsibility excerpts of original messages are temporary: they are deleted when you confirm or dismiss the Possible Responsibility, or after 14 days if you have not reviewed them.
You can also delete individual responsibilities at any time.
Disconnecting accounts
You can disconnect any supported source from within Pending. Disconnecting stops access to new communications; it does not automatically delete what Pending has already received. For iCloud Mail, remember to revoke the app-specific password at Apple separately.
Subscription management
Pending offers a Free plan, which includes 3 new automatically discovered responsibilities per day. Manually created responsibilities are unlimited and do not count against that allowance. The paid plan is $7/month or $70/year, with a full 14-day trial that requires no credit card. Current plan details are on the Pricing page. If you have a question about your subscription, plan limits, or billing, contact support.
Account deletion
You can delete your Pending account at any time. Deletion removes your application data and stored access credentials and disables Pending’s ongoing access through your connections. Some information may remain where required or permitted for billing, security, or legal reasons. If you need help deleting your account, contact support.
